B&B Trucking, LLC transports chips from B&B Chip Mill to facilities in six states, including the Carolinas. Beyond the chip mill’s delivery needs, B&B Trucking also delivers for other companies needing chips, logs, bulkwood or sawdust transported. B&B’s chip trucks, mulch trucks and log trucks travel 20,000 miles a month while delivering about 2500 loads.

Efficiency being the key in the trucking industry, B&B’s newest generation rigs are down to 23,440 pounds, including the driver in the cab and fuel in the tanks. The trucks are equipped with Mercedes 400 engines, aluminum components, super single tires and single exhausts. B&B’s Innovative aluminum chip vans weigh in at 8250 pounds, and their Pitts Ultralight log trailers weigh in at 8600 pounds. All of this means better fuel economy, and although B&B is not hauling any cheaper than the competition, B&B trucks haul more payload than is typical in the industry!
